The Singapore Retailers Association has said it will no longer organise the Great Singapore Sale. The decision comes against the backdrop of changing consumer habits and the rise of e-commerce. The trade association added that interested retailers could still play host to the annual shopping event. Meanwhile, the association has launched an initiative to help shops attract more customers. A new festival sees retailers collaborating to create new offerings and test new business models.
