Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal's $20m facelift to include self check-in kiosks, larger departure hall

Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal will undergo a S$20-million revamp this year. Passengers can expect shorter wait times, automated check-in lanes and an outdoor play area for children. The upgrade will increase capacity by 20%. This is in anticipation of more passengers when new services and routes are added. The ferry terminal was built in 1995 and the last major renovation was in 2007. Claudia Lim reports.
