Democrat Susanna Gibson was running in one of the most competitive elections in Virginia when an article by the Washington Post revealed she had previously been captured in a video performing sex acts online with her husband for tips. The legislative candidate later lost by less than 1,000 votes.
The Washington Post said it received the video, which had originally been live streamed, from a Republican political operative.
Gibson joined “NewsNation Prime” to discuss how the scandal impacted her life and what she is now doing to strengthen digital privacy.
