In this video training I put a creative and fun spin to my training on how to install a call to action button on your Facebook Post
A call to action button is a great way to increase engagement and clicks with your posts. It is a great tool to add to your arsenal when you want your fans to take specific action
To create the call to action button, you go into your Ads Manager and into your power editor.
Click on the Download to Power Editor button. If you have more than one account that you manage, select the account that you are creating the post for. In this training, I used my own account.
On the top towards the left, click on your account number and you will see a drop down. Select ‘Manage Pages’
On the next page, select the page where the post will be created – in this training, I used my fan page
Click on the button that says ‘Create Post’
In the box that appears, add the link where you want people to go to in the URL box
Write in a brief description of what your Call to action is about in the Post Text box
Then choose what you want your call to action button to say
In this training, I chose the ‘Book Now’ for those who want to register for the webinar
Once you choose the button, you don’t have to fill in the Link Headline, Display Link, or Description because Facebook will pull that information from your link.
You can choose to add your own image from your files, click on ‘Upload Image’ for it to show up in the post
Click on ‘Create Post’
Your newly created post will show up at the top of the list. You can click on it to preview it. When you are happy with it, click on “Publish Post”…. and then click on the green Upload button to complete the process
