SUTD develops drone for safer, more efficient inspection of rail viaducts

A Singapore-built drone that can fly into narrow spaces under rail viaducts to do checks. BINO, short for Bearing Inspector for Narrow-space Observation, was developed by a team from the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Lead developer, Associate Professor Foong Shaohui, shared more about how BINO can help check the bearings, which number at more than 15,000 across the entire rail viaduct tracks around Singapore.
