Rep Garcia says democrats will fight to avert future shutdown

The House passed a temporary funding bill to narrowly avert a government shutdown but it will expire in 45-days. The bill does not include aid for Ukraine, which was originally a major sticking point for democrats. Come November 17th, lawmakers will have to come to an agreement to keep the government running long-term. Democratic congressman Robert Garcia joined American Voices host Alicia Menendez to discuss.
