Over 100 dead, 700 injured after Israeli troops fire at Gazans waiting for aid trucks

More than a hundred people have reportedly been killed and 700 others injured in Gaza today, after Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinian civilians gathering at an aid distribution point. Hungry civilians swarmed newly arrived aid trucks to get food, when Israeli tanks and drones started shooting at them in western Gaza. The enclave’s health ministry said the total death toll in Gaza has surpassed 30,000 since the war began last October. Sarah Coates reports from Tel Aviv.
