Sixteen new trains will start plying the North-South and East-West lines on Jun 4. These are part of the 106 that will enter service. Commuters using the two oldest lines can expect spacious cabins and more reliable service. Two trains will roll out every month and the entire fleet will be operational by the end of 2026.
