Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong gave a ministerial statement in parliament on Wednesday (Aug 2) on the CPIB investigation involving Transport Minister S Iswaran, and the resignations of former Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin and People’s Action Party MP Cheng Li Hui.
Mr Lee said on hindsight, he he should have forced the issue earlier, after finding out about Mr Tan and Ms Cheng’s extramarital affair in November 2020. Read: https://cna.asia/44OAvGZ
