How many ‘terrorists’ are in Gaza? Depending on who you ask, it could be none, some, or, if you’re this Israeli analyst, every single man, woman and child. Eliyahu Yossian, researcher with a University of Tel Aviv-linked think tank, Institute for National Security Studies, joined a panel discussion on Israel’s Channel 14 (as he often does) to make the remarkable claim that ‘there are no innocents in Gaza, there are 2.5 million terrorists.’ He went on to describe the practice of ‘roof knocking’ (dropping a non or very light explosive payload on a residential building, in order to give the civilians time to evacuate), saying ‘there are no innocents in Gaza, so there is no need for those bombs.’
