According to footage broadcast by Al-Jazeera, Hamas handed over some of the hostages to the Red Cross in Gaza City.
They were then handed over to the IDF in central Gaza and taken into Israel.
The footage may indicate the hostages were being held in areas of Gaza City that the IDF had not yet reached.
